Cars are not allowed in the city centre, so we suggest you ride a bike or scooter or use public transportation.

Trains
Florence has three railway stations:

• Santa Maria Novella, the main station, in the centre
• Campo di Marte, in the outskirts, stadium area
• Rifredi, also in the outskirts, north-west.

Taxi:
taxis are easily reachable from different taxi ranks in several points of the city; they congregate at the railway stations, at the airport and in the major piazzas.
